2MA MEMBERS IN GREAT EURO 24 TOURNAMENT VISITS

Two 2MA members travelled to Germany to support their respective countries in the recent Euro 24 Football Tournament. Here's how they fared.
Archie Geddes managed to get tickets for Scotland's group games v Switzerland and Hungary but was forced to sell the latter ticket, due to work commitments. Scotland drew with Switzerland 1-1 in Cologne and lost 0-1 to Hungary. Good planning Shipmate, to get a day return!

Meanwhile, Dave Heasman set off in his motorhome and enjoyed a three game jolly with games against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen (England won 1-0), Denmark in Frankfurt, (a 1-1 draw) and the final in Berlin, which Spain - the best team in the competition - deservedly won 2-1.
Dave summed up the competition thus "Not how I wanted it to finish, but still a very enjoyable tournament. Joined up with old friends and made many more on the way"…and that's the way football should be!!
